This decision was to be made during the company's shareholders meeting, however, one of the shareholders, namely NT International, controlled by Denis Mahoney, did not send its representative to the meeting. This, one of the world's largest financial groups, planned to open an investment fund in Poland back in 2006, but failed to receive green light from the Financial Supervisory Commission (KNF). This time, representatives of BNY want to either buy the stake controlled by NT International, or establish another subsidiary in order to make sure that this attempt proves successful.
