"There was no option. It is difficult to blame an investor for changing his mind and replying to a favorable offer. This is a step toward creating a strong Polish construction group with a developer back office," said one of the Krauze's close co-workers. The investor will retain a minority stake of some 16% in Polnord via his Prokom Investments, as "We replace a controlling stake in a smaller venture for a smaller stake ... in a larger firm. This will boost the value and it will be favorable to all shareholders," said a person from Prokom Investments. However, investors reacted in a negative way and both companies in question lost some value throughout the day.
