Pekao shares to be sold at PLN 54 at most
The maximum price of the shares in Bank Pekao that will be sold this month has been set at PLN 54 (USD 11.6). The final price of the offer, which will include 9.17% of the bank's share capital now owned by the State Treasury and a PLN 1bn worth of newly issued shares, is to be announced on Oct 27. Due to a sudden drop of the market price, there might be problems with selling the shares. According to the formula for calculating the minimum price, the newly offered shares cannot be sold below PLN 48.90, while yesterday, the stock was traded at PLN 49.30 (USD 10.6).
