NGK Ceramics to build new EUR 60 million plant in Gliwice

The new plant, located next to the company's existing factory in Gliwice, will employ 150 people. The new project will bring NGK's total investment so far in Poland to zł.1.1 billion and its Polish workforce to 1,750 people. NGK usually locates plants at a distance of at least 150 kilometers from each other, but it changed its policy with regard to the project in Gliwice. When it becomes operational, NGK's new plant will supply the diesel filters installed in every second car in the world. (Puls Biznesu, p. 6) R.M.
