At the beginning of March the company carried out a study which found that the deposits in Siekierki could exceed five billion cubic meters. If further studies will confirm this, Aurelian Oil & Gas could become the second, after PGNiG, largest gas producer in Poland. According to British brokerage house Fox Davies Capital, the exploitation of the deposit could begin in the second half of 2009, but Aurelian has not wasted any time and has already begun negotiations concerning sales of the gas. It has also prepared a tender for the design and construction of systems necessary to exploit the gas. Aurelian Oil &Gas did not reveal how the investment will be financed, neither did it disclose the exact sum needed to carry out the project. (Parkiet, pp. 1, 8) A.K.
