Polski Cukier without SSC
The court has ruled that 16 sugar plants belonging to Slaska Spolka Cukrowa (SSC), the Silesian sugar company, will not be included into Polski Cukier holding, which was created under the new sugar law coming into force today. The shares in SSC are to be secured until the Administrative Court (NSA) resolves the issue of French investor's, Saint Louis Sucre (SLS) rights in the plants. SLS signed the privatization deal with the Treasury Ministry last year, but the Internal Affairs Ministry did not give its accord for the deal. kp,bb
