10% discount for retail investors in PKN Orlen
Small investors would be awarded a 10% discount at the secondary offering of refinery PKN Orlen. Between June 16 and June 29, foreign and domestic investors would be allowed to purchase 84mn - 126mn shares, representing 20%-30% of the company; 35% of the offer will be presented to individual investors and 65% to institutional ones, with 75%-85% of the latter earmarked for foreign institutions. Additionally 10.9mn to 16.4mn shares will be used to stabilise the prices of PKN's GDRs in London. The State Treasury Ministry denied rumours that it planed to sell shares in PKN outside the tender procedures.
