| Plaza Centers N.V. (“Plaza” or the “Company”) announced today, further to the disclosure in Note 5 (d) of the Company's annual financial statements 2018 regarding the internal examination performed by Plaza and its relevant employees in relation to the Project, and that its initial findings were submitted in March 2016 to the Romanian Authorities; that on September 23, 2019, the Romanian Prosecutor (the "Prosecutor") decided to close the investigation considering that there is no evidence to indicate that any bribery offense was committed in relation to the Project. The Prosecutor decided that no money laundry exists and that the evidence regarding a potential traffic of influence leads to the conclusion that this may be considered a matter for civil litigation and not a criminal offense. The parties may file an appeal within 20 days from receiving the decision.
