"Despite that the level of index achieved by Poland is slightly better than in the previous years, many countries are moving towards economic freedom much faster than we are," said Andrzej Kornatowicz of the Adam Smith Center. Poland's largest problem is related to a too high share of the state in the economy, high level of labor-related tax levied on companies, as well as inefficiency of the courts and poor private property protection.
