Information on whether Orlen made a clear decision will be known after presenting the strategy of the company at the end of October. There are no real chances for a consolidation in the oil sector and according to the current strategy, Orlen and Lotos will operate as independent companies.
Energy sector representatives are cautious in their opinions before finding out details of Orlen plans, but representatives of the chemical sector are disturbed as a lack of Orlen would diminish the position of Anwil.
