The future of ABG's current president in the event of a merger remained unclear as some sources claimed he would stay while it was previously thought he would leave the company. One Puls Biznesu source claimed that Brzeski was lobbying in favor of the merger with Asseco Systems, but he expected that he would run the merged entity. The dispute over whether to go ahead with the merger pushed Brzeski to threaten to leave the company and "due to this, it was decided to give up the merger, at least for the time being," said the Puls Biznesu source.
