Two more days for SLS to buy SSC
Treasury Minister Aldona Kamela-Sowinska said she would give the French sugar concern Saint Louis Sucre (SLS) an additional two days to reach an agreement on the purchase of 16 sugar refineries grouped in Slaska Spolka Cukrowa (SSC). SLS will have to sign an annex to the privatisation deal signed six months ago, for which it failed to get approval from Interior Ministry (for procedural reasons). If the French company fails to sign the annex, the 16 sugar planst will be included in the state-owned sugar holding Polski Cukier. kp,bb
