The current market leader French Danone, the owner of the Żywiec Zdrój brand, is still not threatened, as it has a market share two times larger than Cisowianka. "July's success was possible thanks to price strategy.

We want Cisowianka to be generally accessible and thus taking into account its quality it has a relatively low price," said Paweł Witaszek, deputy president of Nałęczów-Zdrój. He went on to say that this is possible thanks to cooperation with a several dozen wholesalers, rather than maintaining a large sales network.
