Poland's largest energy concern Orlen will recognize PLN 2.5 bln (EUR 0.59 bln) write-offs in the consolidated report for the fourth quarter of 2025, the company said in a market filing.
The one-off mainly concerns New Chemistry investment in Downstream Segment in the amount of PLN 2.2 bln.
Moreover, the company will recognize an impairment of the value of international upstream assets in the Upstream&Supply Segment in the total amount of PLN 0.3 bln.
Impairments of assets are non-cash and are not directly linked to the operating cash flow.
