Elektrim's new issue is not intended for Optimus take-over. Conglomerate Elektrim CEO Barbara Lundberg denied rumours that the new issue of 45mn shares was supposed to finance the acquisition of the computer-maker Optimus. She added that it would not be necessary for the French telecom company Vivendi, which is Elektrim's partner, to buy its shares. Lundberg said that the issue would take place in September with half of the shares earmarked for foreign investors to be traded in London.
