Huta Katowice's CEO Wrobel dismissed
The Treasury Minister dismissed Miroslaw Wrobel from the post of CEO of Huta Katowice (HK) steel mill, replacing him -- according to unconfirmed information -- with Andrzej Capiga, the director of the Corporate Banking Centre of Bank Slaski in Chorzow. The ministry did not reveal any reasons behind the decision, but it followed the mill's application to the ministry for financial grant of PLN 660mn (USD 159mn), which was rejected. The mill is 100% owned by the Treasury ministry.
