As recently as October 2007 Hoopla.pl was named the most dynamic "Rising Star" CEE enterprise according to a prestigious ranking of Deloitte. Despite that, it was unable to sell shares in its IPO only a few weeks later and thus it could not carry out planned investments, while growing competition reduced its clients base.
Representatives of MCI Management claim that the failure of Hoopla.pl will not influence the results of the fund as it recovered more than its expenditures collecting zł.1.6 million during a private offer in autumn 2007.
