Gas supply contract with Norway expected by the end of February
A gas supply contract with Norway will be closed by the end of February at the latest, according to Economy Minister Janusz Steinhoff, who also said the contract with Norway is a priority for the government. Poland will import about 5bn m3 of gas from Norway to supplement its 7bn m3 imports from Russia and 4bn m3 from domestic sources.
