GE will not buy Rybnik power plant
General Electric Corporation (GE) has withdrawn from a joint project with NRG Enerating International and the Marubeni Corporation to buy the power and heating plant Rybnik, Deputy Treasury Minister Jan Buczkowski said on Friday. Buczkowski said GE had pulled out of the deal because it proved incompatible with its investment plans. He added that NRG Enerating and Marubeni were still interested in taking over the Polish power plant.
