Steinhoff: the ministers will not change MinFin's guidelines
Deputy PM and Economy Minister Janusz Steinhoff expressed opinion that the government would not change the Finance Ministry's 2001 budgetary proposals. He reiterated that the construction of the budget is not connected with the parliamentary elections to be held next year. Some analysts however pointed out that the next year's budget should be more restrictive in order to curb further domestic demand and to reduce the gigantic CA deficit.
