Poland displeased with EU support for Russian pipelines
Deputy Prime Minister Janusz Steinhoff said that the European Union should have consulted Poland on the routing of pipelines that would carry Russian gas and oil to Western Europe. The Russian proposals call for bypassing Ukraine, which is against the Polish government's policy of maintaining good neighbourly relations in Poland's energy security.
