Mainly in response to the introduction of a 26% tax on the revenues of photovoltaic plants with installed capacities exceeding 30 KWp and connected to the grid in 2009 and 2010 (see EBI report 93/2010) the number of rooftop installations was reduced from 18 to 14 and the total installed capacity was reduced from 1.23 MWp to 653.3 MWp against the original plan. Nevertheless, this portfolio of rooftop photovoltaic installations is the largest installation using Solyndra modules in the Czech Republic and the CEE region. Based on the completion of this project Photon Energy managed to build and connect all photovoltaic plants for its clients securing the feed-in-tariff for 2010.
