The Polish division of the company, which boosted sales by 35 percent in H1 and is not expecting poorer results in H2, has just announced that, "In November we shall open a regional competence-implementation center in Gdańsk, which will widen our offer for SMEs across Europe," said Dariusz Fabiszewski, managing director of IBM Polska. Eventually it will employ 100 persons, but it is just one of many projects commenced in Poland.
Recently, IBM announced that as part of $300 million global investments program it will construct a business continuity center in Warsaw. "This investment will amount to $10-30 million," said Fabiszewski.
