According to two officers from the Internal Security Agency (ABW), the heads of the Agency have in recent days been removing secret documents from the institution and making copies. The officers claim that the documents mainly concern cases related to famous political personalities. Bogdan Święczkowski, who headed the Agency until last Friday denies these allegations.

"This is absurd. Only people who do not know the procedures of conduct with secret documents can make such claims," announced  Święczkowski. "I guarantee that when I was the head of ABW, these kind of things did not take place. There were also no illegal wire tapping." Furthermore, the Agency's spokesperson declared that it is not destroying any evidence of any illegal operations. This statement relates to recent accusations that Jarosław Kaczyński issued a resolution two days after the election regarding new regulations for the destruction of ABW documents.
