"Agora's denial is not convincing and it leaves the impression that something is indeed going on. The announcement informed that the shares will not be sold to competitors [...] It does not clearly state that shares would not be sold to e.g. an investment fund, which according to my opinion is the most likely option," said Sobiesław Pajšk, analyst with DM IDM SA. Apart from companies from the press sector, which would not receive permission for a take over from the competition watchdog (UOKiK), the most likely candidate would be Polsat. "This is an unconfirmed report and I do not intend to take part in market speculation," said the owner of Polsat, Zygmunt Solorz-Żak. (Rzeczpospolita, March 8-9, p. B4) M.M.
