PPS, Samoobrona and KPEiR to run together in the elections
The radical leftist Polish Socialist Party (PPS), the farmers trade union Samoobrona (Self-Defense), and the Party of Pensioners and the Retired (KPEiR) decided to run together in the coming elections. According to PPS's leader Piotr Ikonowicz, co-operation would extend beyond the election campaign. Ikonowicz said that the three organisations must work together to fight unjust legal and economic reforms.
