New Internet hype on Warsaw's bourse
The equity market in Warsaw experiences new Internet hype. Almost all of the hi-tech stock gained in the session with the TechWIG index 1.2% up in the fixed part of the trading. The main indices WIG and WIG 20 rose only 0.1% both. In the continuous trading WIG 20 added 2%, while TechWIG jumped 4.2%. Analysts expect the market to go up in the coming sessions, however investors should look carefully at government's plans concerning fiscal deficit in 2001 budget.
