Officially representatives of the company denied allegations that the English stock exchange was planning to create a competitive market to the WSE or NewConnect in Poland, but it has ambitious plans related to the Polish market and it is strongly encouraging Polish firms to list its shares in London.

"It cannot be ruled out that London will try to establish a new market in Poland," said Jarosław Czarzasty, president of MTS-CeTO. "I am disturbed with the fact that that bourse is gaining influence in our country," said Ludwik Sobolewski, president of the WSE. (Parkiet, pp. 1, 3) M.M.
