According to sources, he will be replaced by Jacek Krawiec, deputy president of Orlen, due to growing disputes among management board members. It remains unknown whether a new member of the management board will be appointed, but "It cannot be ruled out, however it is not the most important issue neither for shareholders nor the supervisory board," said a source close to the company.

None of the involved persons nor representatives of the company wanted to comment on the information.

"Potential changes in the management board will prove that either the contest [appointing Wojciech Heydel] was fictious or that political pressure is high enough to make the replacements. Taking into account historical circumstances, one should assume that it is about political pressure," said Andrzej Sadowski of the Adam Smith Center.
