Eureko goes to EC in its PZU claim
The pan-European financial institution Eureko is going to file complaint against the Polish Treasury to the European Commission. Eureko, which together with its Polish partner BIG BG controls 30% in Poland's largest insurance company PZU, has been promised another 21% in the insurer by the end of 2001, but the Treasury is reluctant to let the control over the company slip out of its hands and has postponed its plans for PZU's IPO. Eureko may also go with the case to the Arbitration Tribunal in Stockholm. kp,bb
