Moreover, it was revealed that KGHM is planning to acquire part of rich deposits in Chile and Peru. KGHM's expansion in China is on course as the firm confirmed that it is cooperating with Minmetals Corporation of China related to exploration and exploitation of deposits in Mongolia, in accordance with an agreement signed between the two corporations last year.
