So far, the management of TVN belittled TV Puls, but finally they wheeled out the big guns against the broadcaster. "TVN Group informs that on October 15, 2007 it submitted an application to the National Radio and Television Council (KRRiTV) to exclude TV Puls from license proceedings announced on April 25 and May 25, 2007 in terms of assigning terrestrial transmitters in Wrocław, Nowy Sącz, Leszno, Szczecin and Katowice-Bytków," reads the Tuesday communique of the firm. Moreover, "We support the opinion of TVN. I believe we shall make a statement on this issue," said Józef Birka from the supervisory board of Polsat. If KRRiTV consents to the motion then the Polish launching pad of Rupert Murdoch might be blocked from expanding its coverage. Moreover, TVN claims that the change in the type of license of TV Puls from socio-religious to universal was made in breach of the law. (Rzeczpospolita p.
