The company's Q3 development was marked by the opening of two new Sphinx restaurants and the signing of agreements for opening two new Chłopskie Jadło restaurants. According to company strategy, between 20 and 26 new restaurants will be opened every year until 2008.
Additionally, the company plans to open the first Sphinx Inn restaurant, which will be located along a main road in southern Poland.
At the end of 2006, the company predicts a 39-percent increase in its annual income, which should amount to zł.165 million.
Grzegorz Dąbrowski, the president of Sfinks Polska, said he is satisfied with the company's Q3 results. "The dynamic development of Sphinks and Chłopskie Jadło restaurants in Poland allows us to look to international expansion, and we are in negotiations with a particular company that operates on the German market," he said.
"We don't know exactly when negotiations will be completed. However, it has already been decided that the project will be of the 'casual dining' type," he added.
Dšbrowski also said that the company is looking at business opportunities in countries south of Poland.
"In Poland, we cooperate with different developing companies that are also building their markets outside Poland," said Dąbrowski. "We will seek their recommendations and consider new locations."
