"Without acquisitions we wouldn't cover all areas of our competence," management board member Piotr Jeleński said.
According to company estimates based on analysts' calculations, the acquisitions will help Softbank reach an income of zł.757 million and a net profit of zł.75 million in 2006. Last year Softbank's income was zł.491 million and net profit was zł.46 million.
The company also boasts a large order portfolio for the years 2005-2009, amounting to zł.1.03 billion, which, as Jeleński underlines, is twice as much last year's income.
Company president Krzysztof Korba didn't rule out further acquisitions, adding: "We have a significant amount of money until 2009. We want to use it to create a completely new company."
