Orlen and GL's Q3 profit exceed all expectations

Both companies posted Q3 results well above market expectations. PKN Orlen made a Q3 net profit of almost zł.966 million, while most optimistic forecast put the figure at zł.878 million. Gdańsk-based Grupa Lotos generated a Q3 net profit of zł.236 million as compared to zł.199 million for the same period last year. Acting on these results, the management of GL decided to raise its consolidated result for this year from the earlier anticipated net profit of zł.634 million to zł.713 million.
