"This will help us boost the balance sheet total in a more rapid way. The task of our new branches is to acquire new clients, rather than take them from the competition," said Ronnie Richardson, president of KB. A key plank of success will be the growth of sales within the financial group with insurer Warta, (which is also owned by Belgian KBC), and Żagiel, a loan intermediary owned by the bank. "We established a unique group on the market with Warta. We are looking not only for ways to jointly sell products, but we also merged numerous functions and we expect a wide range of synergies," said Richardson. These include, joint use of real-estate, purchase of IT and office equipment, mobile phones, cars, joint marketing and advertising campaigns.
