WSE reports another low
The Warsaw bourse reported another low yesterday: the large-cap WIG 20 index losing 3.6% in the single-price auction and another 1.5% in continuous trade to 1,547 points. The main market WIG index dropped 3.4% to 15,506 points, or its lowest level from November. The main factor dragging the Polish market was the US NASDAQ, which sank for the fifth consecutive day on Wednesday. There seems little chance for the market to reverse the weakening trend any time soon. Even if there is a rise of indices in the nearest future, it would be only a short-term rebound.
