The government is urgently planning to verify activities of energy operators, including companies transferring oil. The issue of oil deliveries to the Polish pipeline system is regulated with long-term contracts between pipeline operator PERN Przyjaźń and Russian Transnieft. According to Artur Zawartka, president of PERN, and Piotr Woźniak, former Economy Minister, stipulations included in the contracts many years ago may result with a threat of halting deliveries to the PKN Orlen's plant in Płock, at least in theory.
