PHOTON: Photon Energy signs a purchase contract for 50 to 100 MWp of photovoltaic modules

The Management Board of Photon Energy a.s. announces that on 23 February 2010 its fully owned subsidiary Photon Import s.r.o. signed a contract for the purchase of 50 to 100 MWp of photovoltaic modules with Tianwei New Energy (Chengdu) PV Module Co., Ltd. for delivery until year-end 2010. While exact terms of the contract are confidential, if exercised fully, the contract value could materially exceed EUR 100 million (CZK 2.58 billion, PLN 396.3 million). Photon Energy plans to use Tianwei modules for projects built for its proprietary portfolio, third-party EPC business and resale by Photon Trading.

Photon Energy and its board members are unrelated to the principals of Tianwei New Energy.
