Jackiewicz also stated that he will encourage the management board of copper conglomerate KGHM to take a decision about purchasing power plant PAK from Elektrim, as "This aims at regaining state control over PAK." He stressed that if KGHM rejected this proposal, he would look for another state owned company to carry out the transaction and that the price offer of zł.1-1.2 billion made to Elektrim would not be changed very much. According to Jackiewicz, privatization proceeds in 2008 will stand at zł.2.3 billion and the most important company to be sold will be the national airline PLL LOT.
