mBank lender plans to make regular dividend payment starting from 2026 net profit

mBank, the Warsaw-listed unit of Commerzbank, plans to make regular dividend payment starting from 2026 net profit, the lender said in its 2026-2030 strategy. Its goal is to gradually increase dividend payout ratio from 30 percent in the first year to 75 percent in the last year of the strategic horizon.

"The final dividend amount will depend on market and regulatory conditions, as well as further development of the bank’s operating environment", the bank said.

No dividend will be paid out from the net profit earned by the bank in 2025.

The lender seeks market share in key products at ?10 percent in 2030.

The bank targets return on tangible equity (ROTE) at above 22 percent, cost of risk at ca. 0.8 percent, cost/income ratio ? 35 percent in 2026-2030, and to be among the top-3 Polish banks in that period. It also seeks Tier 1 ratio at least 2.5 p.p. above the regulatory requirement over the entire strategic horizon.
