Poland's largest producer of fertilizers, Police was forced to downshift production by 70 percent since October. With the upcoming rises in energy bills and stagnant commodity prices, lowering prices is not an option. While exports account for 50 percent of sales, the company plans to focus on the domestic market, which is more likely to experience an upturn. A special package for farmers is said to be in the pipeline.
Forecasts for 2009 have not yet been published as the company is forced to postpone investments. Jobs will not be axed just yet, however, "It is a last resort," the company's deputy chairman, Sławomir Winiarski said.
Grubo... ;) I ktos jeszcze chce cos powiedziec? Zgodnie z tymi informacjami ktos chce powiedziec, ze nastepne raporty beda dobre??? Nawet dziecko widzi, ze Police beda teraz za 4zl... Jest to nieuniknione... Pozdrawiam
