Solidarity in Elections applies for registartion as a separate political party
The political movement Solidarity in Elections (Solidarni w Wyborach), which was a grouping within the ruling Solidarity Election Action (AWS) has applied for registration as a separate political party. The application was signed by 1,600 supporters. The leader of the grouping Jerzy Gwizdz said the new party would be open to co-operation with all right and centre-right groupings. Solidarity in Elections has seven deputies in the Sejm.
