The Main Statistical Office (GUS) informed yesterday that commercial banks generated zł.11.9 billion in profits during the three quarters of this year. Even if this result drops by the anticipated 15 percent, purchasing their shares seems like an attractive long-term investment.
The report also criticizes several institutions on the domestic market, such as Pekao SA for announcing too optimistic prognosis, PKO BP for lacking experience in consolidating the market and BRE for not presenting its strategy.
