SLD's shadow government lead by Miller
According to the daily newspaper Zycie, the opposition SLD, has been busy preparing itself to take over the government after the Autumn elections. The newspaper reported today that SLD's government would be led by the party's leader Leszek Miller who will become the prime minister, and also includes the presidential economic advisor Marek Belka as deputy prime minister and finance minister, Marek Pol (leader of UP) as a deputy prime minister and economy minister, and Wieslaw Kaczmarek as treasury minister. It is noteworthy that this cabinet does not include another of SLD's prominent economists, Marek Borowski. He might become the leader of SLD's parliamentary caucus, though, speculates the newspaper. kp,bb
