Polls: SLD/UP coalition to win 44% of votes
According to the latest poll carried out by the public opinion research centre CBOS, the opposition Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) and its coalition partner Labour Union (UP) would get 44% of the votes if a parliamentary elections were held this month. The Citizens' Platform (PO) would get 12%, the ruling Solidarity Election Action (AWS) would get 9%, and SLD's possible coalition partner, the Polish Peasants' Party (PSL), would get just 7% of the votes. kp,bb
