Plazynski calls for Solidarity to withdraw from politics
The Sejm's Speaker Maciej Plazynski said on the radio yesterday, that the Solidarity trade union, as well as its leader Marian Krzaklewski, should withdraw from politics. Plazynski said that according to the constitution, trade unions should not take active part in political life. In his opinion, this means Solidarity should leave AWS, and this decision the trade union could take during its congress that starts today.
