Pozdrawiam.
Lwica.
Wybacz mi lwico, ale nie udalo sie. Nie zebralem dostatecznej kwoty. Troche dzisiaj zaszalalem na BINARY, bo musialem odrobic straty i czesciowo udalo sie.

Obiecuje, ze zarobisz na BDG. Kupuj na lokalnych dolkach. Cos zaczyna sie dziac. Powinnismy niedlugo dostac sygnal kupna. Przynamniej tak wynika z mojego algorytmu. Ale nie pchaj sie do przodu !!!!
Przestan bujac w chmurach miskantusa. A moze miskantus sluzy do czegos innego ;-)
Jak Taleb? Jesli podaba Ci sie, to podam Ci jego 10 zyciowych porad. Staram sie do nich stosowac.
Oj tam, a do czego miałby mi służyć...?! Jeszcze go nie widziałam na oczy, dopiero sobie wyobrażam.
Nie mam czasu czytać książki :-( Cały przyszły tydzień mam gości i koniec z pisaniem na forum, niestety... :-(
P.S. A Widokena nie sprzedam!!!
Dobranoc.
1 Scepticism is effortful and costly. It is better to be sceptical about matters of large consequences, and be imperfect, foolish and human in the small and the aesthetic.
2 Go to parties. You can’t even start to know what you may find on the envelope of serendipity. If you suffer from agoraphobia, send colleagues.
3 It’s not a good idea to take a forecast from someone wearing a tie. If possible, tease people who take themselves and their knowledge too seriously.
4 Wear your best for your execution and stand dignified. Your last recourse against randomness is how you act — if you can’t control outcomes, you can control the elegance of your behaviour. You will always have the last word.
5 Don’t disturb complicated systems that have been around for a very long time. We don’t understand their logic. Don’t pollute the planet. Leave it the way we found it, regardless of scientific ‘evidence’.
6 Learn to fail with pride — and do so fast and cleanly. Maximise trial and error — by mastering the error part.
7 Avoid losers. If you hear someone use the words ‘impossible’, ‘never’, ‘too difficult’ too often, drop him or her from your social network. Never take ‘no’ for an answer (conversely, take most ‘yeses’ as ‘most probably’).
8 Don’t read newspapers for the news (just for the gossip and, of course, profiles of authors). The best filter to know if the news matters is if you hear it in cafes, restaurants... or (again) parties.
9 Hard work will get you a professorship or a BMW. You need both work and luck for a Booker, a Nobel or a private jet.
10 Answer e-mails from junior people before more senior ones. Junior people have further to go and tend to remember who slighted them.
I agree; I try to avoid losers and wimps because they take away my energy. Mostly I make friends with young people that have their dreams and still have enthusiasm to act.
I think that the main key to success is hard work, but Poland is a weird country and I'm afraid these rules don't apply here.
By the way, yesterday my husband anf his friend's child had a very serious discussion about studying. My husband says that higher education is important; few years ago I would have agreed with him but right now I'm not so sure about it. Anyway, the duscussion was very interesting.
What I want to say, not every rule "invented" in the West apply for us.
Dear Lioness-Warren,
I totally disagree with you !!! Can you suggest any alternatives to higher education?
The problem lies in the quality of higher education. To educate children at the highest quality universities and in a new way, e.g. Problem Based Learning, you have to pay a lot of money. Nasim Taleb said:
"My biggest problem with the educational system lies precisely in that it forces students to squeeze explanations out of subject matters and shames them from withholding judgment, for uttering 'I don't know'."
So I invest all my savings into education of my sons hoping that they will pay me back in the future :-) There is one of my reasons to play the stock markets. I need a lot of money to educate them in the best American or even better Canadian universities.
I would like my boys to be independent learners with non-scalable careers to pay me back ASAP ;-)
Have a good weekend with your family !!!
PS. Keep your eye on BDG !!! Something is going to happen soon. I hope positive.
You need both work and luck for a Booker, a Nobel or a private jet. We might drink champagne in Krakow soon :-)
I told you that if you live in the States or Canada, the situation is totally different; in the States - if you work hard + you have an university degree - you can have a great career.
What counts in Poland it's to have connections in the right places, mostly. I know many people (managers) that became rich without higher education, they just met the right people in the right time. Higher education is indispensable in economy, banking, ecc.
That's my opinion.
Have a nice weekend.
P.S. I told you about drinking a VIRTUAL CHAMPAGNE only!! Personal encounters are not included.
I hope that you had a nice weekend. We celebrated birthday of my younger son :-)
W 2012 r. UE może zmienić politykę energetyczną

Widoken might not be the best investment in a short or even long term perspective. Energy policy in Europe will change. We cannot afford RE - OZE. Be careful !!!
Yes. I have bough a 'few' shares of EEX not because his recommendation, but this is a good company which will pay dividends in the near future. It might be my pension. Just in case when my sons will not have non-scalable jobs ;-)
Cheers,
PS. It is likely that I will visit Krakow in the future with or without my jet ;-)
Hello My Dear,
Thanks for the article. I want to quit my adventure with the stock market and find a well paid job or leave Poland for a long time.
I'm going to keep the stock of Widoken, because I hope they know what they are doing, and they have contracts for their products.
I'm also going to invest the rest of my money in the BDG because I believe that those who have connections in the russian market can do a lot of business there.
They are the two companies I want to stay with for now, because according to me right now the world is very unstable and I'm not very experienced in investing.
Mandelbrot.....you're a good guy and I'm glad that we've met.
I wish you all the best. Good bye.
Mandelbrot, if you read it, please go on BDG!! I'm there fighting with our enemies ("Niki" and "er"). Accrding to me, we shouldn't be hiding away when they are writing their stupidities.
Wow, you are the first person that made me smile today! ;-)
I wanted to tell you something... This morning I started reading "Samotność w ..."; your favorite author Taleb mentions Alan Sokal "Fashionable Nonsense" about postmodern writing. Have you read it?
P.S. Let's fight against all the enemies of BDG!!!
Hello My Dear, you made me smile and cry in 12 hours. "Samotność w..." is a beautiful but very sad book. It only confirms my opinion that our destination is lonelyness although we live among people. Don't you have this feeling?
P.S. Joan of Arc of NC - I love it! ;-)
My Dear Joan of Arc of NC,
I'm just back from Brussels. I am worried about you. You are fighting for BDG like a Liones. Plesae relax, make love not war and read Nasim Taleb :-)
If you would to know the answer for your question please read "Gra w klasy" by Julio Cortazar: 'We went around without looking for each other, but knowing we went around to find each other'
Goodnight Good Morning :-)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UXqemHFzmg&feature=related
Hi Mandelbrot, I already missed you!!
Speaking about BDG, I just wanted us to go there from this forum that belongs to a different company, but it's impossible because of that stupid Niki. I just wanted to piss him off!! I envy Sadovaya, they have a great forum and they always keep together. I read Cortazar many years ago when I worked in a library, yes I worked in a small library for 3 years and I read almost all the books they had. I still have many friends librarians that recommend me what to read. For example I can recommend you a great book of Marcus Zusak "The Book Thief" - I read it in two nights. The story happens just before and during the II World WAr and the narrator is Death. It teached me that we should always tell the truth because sometimes it can be too late and than we regret it for the rest of our lives.
Have you already started "Samotność w sieci?" I'm going to read it all day today.
What kind of music do you like to listen?
Speaking about the company.....How is our miscanthus?
See you.
You impressed me again !!! You are a truly erudite as Nasim Taleb. I have to be very careful. I do not want that you could think of me as an ignorant.
Thanks for recommending me another book. I will try to read over Christmas it if I have enough time. Unfortunately I have to read a lot of stuff I do not like, e.g. reports, memos. But this is my job. Hopefully, I will be rich in 1-2 years. By the end of the next year I will know if I should set up a company with my colleague - a research brother. :-)
Do you agree with me that 'we are leaving the Information Age and entering the Recommendation Age. Today information is ridiculously easy to get; you practically trip over it on the street. Information gathering is no longer the issue – making smart decisions based on the information is now the trick.'
Please read 'The Long Tail' by Chris Anderson. This book might inspire you to develop your own business idea !!!
By the way, Pierre de La Gorçe (1846-1934) in a speech at the Société bibliographique, May 7, 1920 said “Dis-moi ce que tu lis, et je te dirai ce que tu es.”
I will know everything about you soon. Do you really want this ? ;-)
I read 'Samotnosc w sieci' 2-3 times. I am heading to Poland, but not Krakow :-( soon so I will take this book back home and read again.
But I recommend you ''One Day'' by David Nicholls. The main message of this book is that you can live your whole life not realising that what you are looking for is right in front of you !!!! I wish you could find and follow your Legend my Joan.
I am an 'old' man so I listen to music of my youth - Genesis, Phil Collins, Sade, Nelly Furtado, U2, Jan Garbarek, .... You will know about me everything too ;-)
Please do not worry about BDG. I checked it today and a buy signal would be generated soon. Do you trust me ?
Have a good Sunday my Joan, Warren, Nasim, Lioness, ....
Yes, I trust you......to some point, he, he, he.... It's not a matter of trust (remember Billy Joel?), but it's the market that can surprise us in a positive or negative way. Our success depends on the people that manage the company - I hope they are trustworthy - and many other factors that we all know; I agree with you that doing business in Russia or other Eastern countries is risky, but there is also a huge and absorptive market to be conquered if only the company is managed by right and honest people that want to develop the company by acting in the right way also with us, small investors. That's why I invest in SGR.
Thanks for recommending me another book about business, but I've tried to run many businesses in Poland and, believe me, it's hard with my profession. It's a lot easier to run a construction business.
Speaking French....Yesterday I bought the lastest CD of Michał Bajor singing French songs translated by Młynarski and it's called "From Piaf to Garou" ; You'll love it, if you like this kind of music. I almost can see you laughing from my romantic nature ;-)
When I was young I hated Bajor; I guess we all have to grow up to understand some things.
By the way, it's good that you're "old"; I never expected you to be very young, but I'm glad that you're wise. ;-), but.....tell me one more thing: why did you chase me on that forum of MWT and you never argue with Niki from your own forum of BDG or with others from different forums? I'd really like to know the answer to this question.
Mandelbrot, WHY ME?!
Have a great Sunday. (i'm going for a walk right now)
See you soon. ;-)
My Dear Joan of Arc of NC,
I hope you had a nice walk in the Krakow's Planty 'without looking for your Legend, but knowing you went around to find your Legend'.
My answer to your question is very simple. I chase only after people who try to cheat at prices of shares at NC to gain their personal profits. But please forgive me that I was wrong about your attitude. You say what you mean and mean what you say - write. You are honest like Joan of Arc !!!
Yes, I had a nice walk; on Tuesday it's going to start snowing and I hate winter. From what you said it means you're more honest than me; I don't chase anyone, but I let people make their own choices, so if they decide to buy some stock they are responsible for the step they made and nobody else.
You know.....you remind me someone that I admired during my studies.... It was Niccolo' Machiavelli. Almost everyone thinks that he was a bad guy, because he used to say the truth about polititians, Church and people themselves. Deep inside he was a very nice and sincere guy, good friend and , first of all, a great patriot. You should read some of his letters.
One day, when I go to Florence, I will take you with me.
I agree. So it's done; when our child grows up a little bit, we will go to Florence. I'll show you many nice places there.
I've been so busy today... ufff; sorry, but I don't have time to read our friend Nassim... maybe tomorrow..... This evening I have to prepare lessons for my students. We agreed with one of my students - a girl from Ucraine - that she will teach me russian and she's going to bring me some manuals after Christmas. This idea makes me very happy because I used to speak Russian very well in the past. I have so many plans and ideas, I just need some money to make them all come true.
I hope you had a great day too.
My Dear Husband "Machia" (from Machiavelli, he was really called like that) - don't work too hard!!! ;-)
Dear Warren, Dear Joan of Arc of NC,
My congratulations !!! Your baby SGR was growing so fast today - more than 9 mm :-)
Unfortunately, our own baby BDG is not behaving well :-(. But do not worry he will grow !!!
I hope you had a good day
PS. I would love to speak Russian again. I was very good at Russian at my primary and secondary school. Will you teach me in Florence ? :-)
Did you have Russian at school?! Me too. I spoke Russian very well in high school and on my Maturity Exam I got 5, but since then I've never spoken it until now. I have to explain her italian grammar in...... Russian!!
Yes, our baby is not doing very well... Sometimes I think we will be rather poor than rich on BDG. I think it will go down up tp 2.50. It's because of the crisis, everyone is afraid of the situation with euro, so there is no money on the market. Hopefully next year will be better for both of them: BDG and WDK.
Maybe we should have another child together? It would be a girl and I've already chosen a beautiful name for her--------------------------> Widok Energia!!!!
Yes, I'm very busy lately; tomorrow will be the same, so you have to take care of our child and start thinking about the second one, he, he, he ;-)
Here is one of the most scary ads in the world:
http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=22984504&server=vimeo.com&show_title=0&show_byline=0&show_portrait=0&color=00adef&fullscreen=1&autoplay=1&loop=0
My Dear Joan of Arc of NC,
Again your own baby is booming !!! Well done. You are real Warren of WSE.
It seems that I have to help our baby and buy him a few toys ;-)
I would love to have another NC baby with you, but I cannot. I do not know if I can afford this. To grow two children is enough for me now. I have to confess that form time to time I have affairs or liaisons but please trust me they are not serious. Just to make money or even sometime lose.
By the way do you agree with this quote by Janusz Wisniewski (not from 'Samotnosc w sieci')
Kobieta, aby pójść do łóżka z mężczyzną, potrzebuje bliskości, zaufania i poczucia więzi. Mężczyzna - przeważnie - potrzebuje tylko miejsca.
My Dear Niccolo, I hope they are not serious......:-(
I agree only in part with Wiśniewski, very important is that word "przeważnie", because I know men that are happy in their relations and don't even think about other women. I had an uncle that married a woman 20 years older than him and when she died he missed her so much that he died 6 months after.
On the other hand it's very hard to meet a real love in life and who finds it' should fight for it. One day one of my colleagues, a 28 years old guy told me that all his friends stay with their wives because of different kind of obligations, which is really depressing.... I couldn't live like that.
I'd like to meet one day such guy like Jakub.
Have you seen that movie "Diary"? If not, you should see it. That's the kind of love I'm talking about.
My Dear Joan of Arc,
Of course this is not my quote !!! I was testing what you think about men and I have to agree with you. You impressed me again !!!. I am starting to think about you as an ideal woman - wife - guardian angel but not real. Are you real ?
Do you talk about Bridget Jones's Diary ?
I do believe that you will find your Legend. Trust me !!!
Hi Niccolo, I asked you this question not because of your investment choices, but because of a book that I started reading (G. Plebanek "Nielegalne związki") and its' motto:
" Miłość do jednego tylko męzczyzny
czy do jednej tylko kobiety jest wyrzeczeniem [...}
Idealizm jest śmiercią dla ciała i wyobraźni."
Anais Nin "Dzienniki"
Someone recommended me this book few months ago and yesterday I had time so I started to read it and during the day I was just thinking about that sentence.
By the way, I'm not an angel, I'm very unpatient, I'm terrbile when I'm bored (I start teasing people) and I have some more vices.
We will go to Florence when our baby is at least 15. When is it going to be? How do you see our baby in 2012? My baby SGR is doing down too... I only hope that my miskanthus is going to grow fast.... Anyway, don't worry, your dream will come true. One day the crisis is going to end somehow and we will meet together.
I'll be very busy today, so please, watch after our baby and don't work too hard. ;-)
Have a nice day and thanks for the poem!
I missed you too!!
As you see, I even can't sleep thinking about you, My Niccolo and our baby !!!
Write me something nice about it! :-)
Today I'm going to read again Taleb, if I have time. First I have to think about decorating my house for Christmas. ;-)
My Dear Angel,
I was writing to you last night, but the system had been serviced and my text was not uploaded :-(
I am very busy working on a new proposal and my business trip to Poland. I hope that this is a beginning of my own business Legend. I will analyse with my algorithm our baby today and let you know if we are going to meet in Florence soon. :-)
I have to answer your previous question about bitchy women. I hate controlling bitchy women who are insecure about themselves, but I adore and admire independent women with strong presonality and character who can make their own decisions or can help to make our common decisions. I call this partnership. I know that you are my independent and strong Angle :-)
Please read and enjoy another poem by Halina Poswiatowska. You do think that your souls and desires are very similar !!!
Oczekiwanie jest naszą porą
a najlepiej jest czekać na Ciebie
tyle wieczorów
zakwitło na roześmianym niebie
jesteśmy tacy sami
trzymamy się za ręce
i nawet kot pod piecem zamilkł
i słucha jak pada deszcz
pluszczą krople - to twoje nogi
idziesz do mnie przez złote kałuże
twarz ci zmokła - scałuję deszcz
chodź chodź
w moje ręce ciepłe
w moje ręce oczekujące
w moje usta zachłanne
jak deszcz
By the way would like to watch with me Last Tango in Paris (Florence) or Fatal Atraction ? ;-)
Beautiful...but...Niccolo, please, I can't accept such poems from you...
Do you know that I feel when you're thinking about me? Two nights ago I was sleeping and I had a dream, I was dreamming that you were sitting beside me... I couldn't fall asleep anymore, so I woke up and I saw a message from you... Do you know what came into my mind? The lirycs from "Titanic": "Every night in my dreams, I see you, I feel you...".
I suppose that we are very similar to each other, but I can't even think like that, so, please, don't ask me to watch The Last Tango in Paris with you....please....
