So? Game pass is not free. I regularly bought games on windows store regardless of game pass. Most notable being Gears of War 5.

Good for the outriders game though, larger userbase on xbox and smartphone(cloud?). Which in turn leads to larger crossplay userbase for everyone. For those who prefer to occasionally rent their games.
