Last couple of days we have been experiencing some disturbances over the transfers from Europe to Nigeria caused by the newest Central Bank of Nigeria regulations. Over the last weekend CBN has stopped our service without any warning, thus also freezing transferred funds of our Customers just prior to the recipients banks.
Our service to Nigeria has just resumed and we work as usual! Please note that we now deliver money within 1 working day to the recipient’s bank account in NGN and USD currencies.
We have put all affected transactions automatically into refund status and our Nigerian Customer Desk is coordinating with all Customers involved in these refund activities. We would like to apologize for all the inconvenience and ensure we have reworked the way of sending money to Nigeria to prevent sudden stops in the future.
